BLDE Associations Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology in Vijayapura celebrated its Institute Research Day 2025 with great enthusiasm by organizing an international symposium on "Energy Harvesting Dynamics" and a workshop on "Research Methodology and Tools" for research scholars on June 30, 2025. 

Dr. Dhiraj V. Patil, Dean of Faculty Welfare, served as the chief guest and keynote speaker. During the inaugural function, Dr. R.V. Kulkarni, the Registrar of BLDE University, addressed the audience as the Guest of Honor. Sir,  noted that the BLDE Association has provided sufficient infrastructure and financial support to advance research development.

Principal Dr. Manjunatha P addressed the research scholars about the tools necessary for writing research manuscripts for publication in reputable scientific journals. The event was attended by Dr. V.G. Sangam, the Director of the College, Vice Principal Dr. P.V. Malaji, and Dr. Leena Raghaa. It was jointly organized by the Research and Development Cell, the Central Library, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Over 100 research scholars benefited from the workshop. Dr.Kailash Chadchan hosted the event and Prof.Vishwanath Hiremath presented the invocation song.
