On
11th September 2025, the Department of Civil Engineering at BLDEA’s College of
Engineering & Technology organized an industry-sponsored One Day workshop
titled “Waterproofing & Tile Adhesive” in collaboration with
UltraTech Cement Ltd. The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of contractors
in applying advanced waterproofing solutions and tile adhesives for modern
construction practices.
The
program highlighted the importance of proper waterproofing, tile fixing
techniques, and product selection to ensure durability and structural quality.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Prof P.M.Biradar, Prof. M. Q. Patel, Prof. A.S.Bagi & Prof. M.B.Ishwaragol from BLDEA’s CET, with technical support from
UltraTech Cement Ltd. The workshop was attended by 33 contractors from
Vijayapur, who actively participated in discussions and hands-on activities.
